National Policies
To ensure that Zimbabwe provides the best possible business, regulatory, technical and fiscal infrastructure to enable Zimbabwe’s creative businesses to flourish commercially and to increase overseas investment and trade in Zimbabwe’s creative industries.

The Argentinean circus act, Mandragora Circus, will perform in Bulawayo at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Bulawayo on the 10th of August at 2:30pm and at the Zimbabwe Academy of Music in Bulawayo on the 12th and 13th of August at 6:00pm and 5:00pm respectively.
Mandragora Circus is a 55 minute long wordless performance where two clowns tell a story of comedy and love. Circus stunts, music and unconventional instruments weave the acts of this play together allowing the audience to imagine situations, conflicts and solutions in a delicate story for all.
The performance is part of their worldwide tour, which has covered the American continent, Europe and now Africa in the past six years.
The play has been performed in 26 countries and in Zimbabwe will be presented in Harare and Bulawayo. Mandragora Circus started as an independent theatre company in 2002 in Trelew, Chubut, Patagonia, Argentina. Since its premiere this show has been presented in Theatre Festivals in Argentina, the Americas, Europe and Africa, performing in 26 countries in more than 13 years of continuous performances. It is formed by Mariana Silva and Juan Cruz Bracamonte who previously had been members of other companies performing music, theatre, dance and circus since 1998.
Part of the proceeds from the shows will go towards the “Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness Exhibition” by the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. The circus act is open to audiences of all ages; entry fee to performances is $3. The show is produced by Mzingaye Dube (Mzitod) for Nhimbe Trust.
